Cat Murphy is an artist whose work shows compressed emotions closely hidden underneath the skin; the sensation of being smothered by the pulse to breath. It is a release of space and the veiled sensation of the unknown. Murphy received her BFA in painting and drawing at Louisiana State University in 2012. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
